Rehmat Foundation Children Health Program
Infectious diseases are preventable and treatable . Unfortunately in undeveloped countries an estimated 5 million children under the age of 5 died in 2020 according to WHO . Pakistan is one of the countries with highest child mortality rate .According to UNICEF 65.2 out of 1000 live births die before age 5 in Pakistan.
To tackle this issue, Rehmat Foundation has partnered with ChildLife Foundation to develop a program at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Jahania where seriously ill children are being treated daily. It has also funded 5 ER beds at the Children Hospital, Multan.
The Founders of Rehmat Foundation Drs Ghulam Qadir and Huda Zenati visited Pakistan from March 23 to April 8 2026. They visited Children Hospital and Children Emergency Room managed by ChildLife which RF supports. Dr Kashif Chishti Dean of the hospital took them on a tour of the whole complex.
