Our Objectives

Improve medical education and healthcare with an emphasis on mental health. Improve education in general.

Provide food to patients and their attendants in the hospital who do not have the means to procure food themselves. Provide financial support to orphans

Medical Education Program

Rehmat Foundation Global Medicine Initiative strives to facilitate medical education, research, student, and scholar exchange between institutions in Pakistan and individuals/institutions in USA to improve healthcare in Pakistan.

We have over 90 medical experts in various specialties who deliver lectures at several medical institutions in Pakistan via zoom. Rehmat Foundation Facilitated a training Program in Dermatology for dermatologists from Pakistan with Hamzvi Dermatology Group in the state of Michigan.

Working in remote areas of Pakistan to identify, enroll, and support children who are not attending school because of poverty. RF is introducing E-Learning in public schools.

Completed

  1. Signed Memorandum of Understanding with several institutions in Pakistan.
  2. Renovated 8 Operating Rooms, (3 lamellar) with the cooperation of N-16 at Nishtar Hospital, Multan.
  3. Established Simulation Learning Center at Nishtar Medical University.
  4. Facilitated renovation of 3 Operating Rooms by NANA at Nishtar Hospital.
  5. Facilitated expansion of Endoscopy Unit by NANA at Nishtar Hospital.
  6. Facilitated/Established renovation of the auditorium by N 18 at Nishtar Medical University.
  7. Supported/Established IT Lab at a high school in Muzaffar Garh.
  8. Provided food, shelter, and medical care for flood victims and built/ building houses for 382 families by partnering with Nishtar Medical University, Pakistan Association of Memphis, Kawish Welfare Trust, and Lari Project in DG Khan division and Baluchistan.
  9. Supported “Building Baby Brains” Training Course for Lady Health Workers in South Punjab.
  10. Created and distributed mental health journals to 1000 students from Annapolis High School, Dearborn High School, Fordson High School, and Melvindale High School in the suburbs of Detroit.
  11. Facilitated signing of MOU between Nishtar Medical University and Wayne State University, School of Medicine, Michigan for collaborative research and scholar/student exchange.
  12. Facilitated meetings for teaching and research with the following institutions.
    Department of Pediatrics at Wayne State University, School of Medicine, Children’s Hospital of Multan, and Department of Pediatrics at Nishtar Medical University.
  13. Funded Children Health Program in THQ, Jahania and 5 ER beds at children Hospital Multan in collaboration with ChildLife Foundation./li>

Ongoing

  1. Lecture series in different medical specialties.
  2. Biweekly grand rounds in pediatrics at Wayne State University available to pediatricians in South Punjab.
  3. Medical/Mental Health Services.
  4. Cornea Transplant Program at Nishtar Hospital.
  5. Free medical camp in the suburb of Multan for 2 weeks in 2022, 1 month in 2023, and one month in 2024 during Ramadan.
  6. Support orphans in Pakistan.
  7. Food Program to feed the needy in Muzaffar Garh daily since 2021 and and at railway station in Multan since 2024
  8. Provide food assistance to 65 families in Tehsil Jahania monthly.
  9. Distribute food rations to families during Ramadan since 2022.
  10. Upgrade school infrastructure and rolling out E-Learning Solutions in public schools in South Punjab.
  11. School Uniforms Program to Prevent drop out.
  12. Women Empowerment Program, to equip college graduates with social/entrepreneurial skills to become business owners.
